Qlustar: Install and enjoy!

The Qlustar Community Package Repository

This repository is a service provided by Q-Leap Networks and has the purpose to provide clean debian packages of various software projects for multiple Ubuntu and Debian releases. It concerns packages that are not yet available in the upstream distro releases. Q-Leap provides regular updates for these packages, in sync with Qlustar updates. Note, that we only provide packages here, that have simple dependencies and are thus cleanly integratable into standard installations.

To install packages from this repository, you need to add it to your apt sources list. This can be accomplished by executing the following as root on your machine.

$ dpkg -l | grep software-properties-common > /dev/null 2>&1 || \
    apt-get install software-properties-common
$ gpg --no-default-keyring --primary-keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg \
    --recv-keys E6BA110F3C0BC307

The second command should have imported the Qlustar PGP key and must output a line like
gpg: key 3C0BC307: public key "Q-Leap Networks (automatic archive key) <>" imported
Note, that the gpg command above might fail, the first time you execute it. This happens, if gpg has never been executed before for the root user. In this case, simply execute it a second time. If it succeeded, you may execute:

$ add-apt-repository \
    'deb <release> main'
$ add-apt-repository \
    'deb <release>-proposed-updates main'

where <release> is one of 9.2-trusty (for Ubuntu 14.04), 10.0-xenial (for Ubuntu 16.04) or 9.2-wheezy (for Debian). After this, you can install packages from the repo the usual way, e.g.:

$ apt-get update
$ apt-get install singularity-container
